yikes, i thought i put all that in paragraphs. i'm sorry it didn't post that way.

ola signore e signorita,
travel: i finish my work on friday afternoon. i can get home by around 4/4:30pm. so, if you want to come thursday night or friday, both are fine with me. i have a pull out couch in my living room. i would just have to pass you in the morning at 6am to get to job friday morning.

would you be taking the bus or train into the area? one of you has mentioned a cheap bus $20 each way that goes between the chinatowns of our cities. i dont have more info right now, but it was either you, cherry, or xuan, or michael m. who mentioned it to me. i think that's the cheapest way to go. i can look into more if you want that path...or were you thinking of driving to here?

yes, UPS still is feasible. you can send the dowels to me. the only question right now, and it's a question that has to be resolved for other reasons too, is how will we put it on my car. i will be getting a roof rack, so, i will get one that accomodates things that are atleast what we need for the dowels. perhaps the ohio people can tell you what the package will be like? so i can make sure i get the right roof rack? And, as for UPS

have it sent to the UPS willhold center on staten island:
UPS
c/o Shana Tribiano
1331 Travis Ave
Staten Island, NY 10314

i can pick it up- if it doesn't arrive earlier in the week, then latest we can get it friday afternoon. (i couldnt' pick it up thurs night before they close, but all other nights i can plus monday anytime)

UPS shipping requirements:
***the package needs a willhold sticker that contains a place for my phone number on it: 718 981 8379
*dont use paper or string to wrap box
*new corrogated cardboard box needs 2-4" of cushioning inside
*weight: <150 lbs
*lenght: <108"
*length+width: <130"
*shipping address needs to be on outside & inside of box (!woah!)
*insured for up to $100: after $100, insurance is $0.35 per $100 of insurance

Okay, that is tons of info. Prolly Ohio people know all that, but i wanted to give you everything they told me. phew.

i think that covers a bunch for now. is there any other camping equipment you guys can think of wanting? camping equipment rendevous with dad is saturday 8)

hey, cool on finding the dowel deal.

it doesn't sound like a lot of wood to burn, so i would say we might get away with aluminum sheeting not melting without even raising it off the ground. still i haven't gotten to check out hot aluminum gaseous emissions yet...tomorrow night, yes.

Hi Shana,
Thinking about the getting there part of this. We'll be work free late in the afternoon on Thursday. There are probably several ways we could hook up after that. When are you thinking of leaving from NJ?

Found a good Ohio deal on dowels. There will be 4 bundles about 4" in diameter and 3' long. Does it still sound feasible for me to UPS them to you for transport to pdf? If so, what address?

hi dave hi cherry,
burnpad: last year we used some aluminum sheeting that comes in a roll. does burn through in some places if the fire is big. another person wondered if aluminum would gas off it, but i guess that is less likely than it melting, though, i'm not sure right now. i'll look into it more. the other recommendation is pricey and heavy corrogated steel. these are the recommendations i have so far. i'll keep looking into it and i'll be making a home depot visit this friday. hot date with the orange aproned folk.

ok - forgive the off-topic just once - i was originally gonna write miss cherry with more russell and signore dave with more ogata, but then some people get troubled when people keep refering to them constantly in conjunction with their partner. i like thinking miss cherry with more russell and signore dave with more ogata (dave cherry entered the blog description as like hello kitty only with more tribiano ..hahaha), i confess. zzz sleep awaits.

dear cherry with more tribiano,

ahhh, i'll look into paints - by tues afternoon i could get to pearl. wow, the stained glass idea is magical. perhaps we could even turn it into a project for the day there - making the design that goes over the structure, that is. there is also the sphere which i am guessing will involve our hands on deck too... i am up for all of it. some people like to do less work once they get there. i can't tell that i am one of those folks, but i just wanna mention it in case you might have a sense for yourself.

supplies: my dad has a 2 burner stove, latern, cooler, even 2 different sized tents - a 4 person and larger one. he said write me a list and i'll look for stuff. so i will call him tomorrow or tues after i inventory with my tents and such. so, if you think of something you'd like miss cherry with more tribiano & signore dave with more hello kitty, let me know and i can ask my dad if he's got it. the goods delivery will happen next saturday. i am swell with sharing la tent too, since it sounds like we could all fit and it would be less for you to carry down, but i am not so young that i dont know the thing of privacy 8).
