If I had my way I would make a video game where ranks of old white guys drinking red cans of cocacola and saying things like, "you should be ashamed of yourself," descended faster and faster toward the bottom of the screen which was full of hot chicks like Cherry and Xuan and Shana hanging out at MacDonalds all afternoon and making geometric figures out of marshmellows and toothpicks, unless you could throw blue guitars at them fast enough and stop them with a little Hendrix guitar explosion.

A discussion on D-Day the other day: Eisenhauer... generals...MacArthur... Vietnam... who were the famous generals in Vietnam... Jimi Hendrix was the biggest decission maker... Woodstock Star Spangled Banner... the first time I heard that recording I knew who I was for -- whoever Jimi Hendrix was for. The Jimi Hendrix Star Spangled Banner is not even art, it's science. A friend of mine's grandfather once said about Coke, "Isn't it great?" meaning that sugar is what makes the world go around. I remember feeling like there was something that he was missing even if he was right about economics. It just occurred to me in the middle of this conversation about generals that should have said, "yeah that's great but what about Jimi Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner where it's all like, "bwugaulsheauoooweaoooouuuuuuuowww... (Oh Say can you see?)... enarewowwwwwwwwwwww!!!!" Isn't this greater than that? Doesn't that just suck compared to this? Can't you hear Nixon screaming in that guitar sound? I think Coke is red so that it's not too easy to like. If Coke were blue, no one would be able to resist it. But Jimi Hendrixes Star Spangled Banner is over the rainbow. How can you argue with that?
